Coaches' Corner: Edison v. Falls Church

Edison's varsity boys' basketball team will play against the Jaguars Friday night.

The Edison Eagles will take on the Falls Church Jaguars at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Thomas Edison High School.

The Edison Eagles have been preparing for the game the same as they do every week. Head Coach Terry Henderson said they put the same emphasis on their skills each week against different teams.

"Everything is all the same to us. I continue to work on the things that I believe we need to improve on to be a top team in the region regardless of the opponent," he said.

Because it's a home game, Henderson said the team is prepared to play a good game, improve their skills and try to get another district win. One of the team's concerns going into Friday's game is the Jaguar's defense.

"They do a good job in their zone defenses, and the players are well coached," Henderson said.
