Edison Academy Open House

On Wednesday evening, February 9, the Edison Academy will be hosting an Open House for interested students and parents from 6-8pm. Academy staff and students will be available to provide tours of the facilities, labs, shops, and classrooms. This is an excellent opportunity to explore the benefits of taking an Academy class. Edison Academy is one of six academies in Fairfax County Public Schools. Students from 14 area high schools attend Edison Academy classes for specialized instruction not offered in their base high schools.

Edison Academy courses afford students opportunities to: earn nationally recognized industry certifications, receive dual enrollment credits with Northern Virginia Community College, work in state of the art facilities, gain career experiences, apply for special scholarships, participate in community service, and learn academic and technical skills under the instruction of experienced professional educators.

For more information, please contact the Edison Academy at 703-924-8100. For those attending the Open House, you may enter the Academy through Entrance #10 or #11.
