FAIRFAX COUNTY, IN PARTNERSHIP WITH COX,
CELEBRATES BLACK HISTORY MONTH
Public invited to free program – “Embracing Our Youth, Our Heritage and Celebrating All Cultures”

Fairfax County, in partnership with Cox, invites the public to attend a free program – titled “Embracing Our Youth, Our Heritage and Celebrating All Cultures” – in celebration of Black History Month. The program will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, February 11, 2011, in the Fairfax County Government Center Auditorium. A free reception will be available starting at 6 p.m.

“Cox is pleased to be a huge supporter of Fairfax County Government’s Black History Month celebration again this year,” says Dianne Earley, Vice President, Cox Media Virginia. “In addition to our overarching commitment to diversity – which is part of the fabric of who we are as a company – we have many internal and external programs that seek to embrace diversity and multiculturalism in our workplace and in the greater business environment. Our program, in partnership with Fairfax County, is an important part of that commitment.”
