Lee High School Hires New Cheer Coach

Courtney Edmonds is currently the assistant coach for the women's gymnastics team for the high school.

Robert E. Lee High School recently hired Courtney Edmonds to be the new varsity cheer coach. Edmonds is currently the assistant coach for the women's gymnastics team and will graduate with her bachelor's degree from Marymount University.

Edmonds attended Mount Vernon High School where she participated in varsity cheer, gymnastics and track. She was a member of the varsity cheer squad all four years and was the captain of the squad her senior year. Edmonds was nominated for All District Cheerleader in 2007 and 2008 and was chosen as an All-District Cheerleader for the 2008-2009 season.

In the fall, she will begin working on her master's degree and will start working as cheer coach once the Lee gymnastics season is over.
