American Cancer Society Relay For Life

At Relay For Life, teams of people camp out at a local high school, park, or fairground and take turns walking or running around a track.  Each team has a representative on the track at all times during the event. Throughout the event there are games,  activities, entertainment. Cancer Survivor's celebrate life by taking the opening lap of the event during the Opening Ceremonies. At Dusk, there is a special luminaria ceremony in memory of those lost to cancer and in honor of those who have survived. Because cancer never sleeps, Relays are overnight.  Most of the fundraising is performed by teams during the months leading up to the Relay For Life event. But you can register as an individual particpant for the event. 

The highlight of the Relay is the Luminaria Ceremony that will take place at 9:00 PM.  Everyone is welcome to attend.
