Hayfield's Hayden Knudson, Lee's Kyon Taylor Sign with Same University

Taylor's team knocked Knudson's Hawks out of the 2010 playoffs

Last November, Hayfield Hawks wide receiver Hayden Knudson and Lee Lancers wide receiver Kyon Taylor faced each other as rivals in a football playoff game the Lancers eventually won, 25-20. Now, they'll have to work as teammates, after both signed Wednesday to play at the University of New Hampshire in the fall, New Hampshire's Foster Daily Democrat reports.

Taylor and Knudson also both play as defensive backs, as well as wide receivers.

"[Taylor] can go with the ball and has great instincts in the open field," UNH Coach Sean told the Daily Democrat.

Knudson gained some fame on the internet last year, when a video of him intercepting a field goal and returning it for a touchdown went viral. As of this writing, it has nearly 250,000 views on Youtube.
