This Week in Football in Kingstowne and Springfield

This week Fairfax County Public Schools students step foot in the halls and classrooms of their schools for the first day of school, but for some of the athletes, they've been waiting to step foot on the football field for the 2013-2014 season.

Many schools started their season last week. Here's what to look forward to in football in Kingstowne and Springfield this week.

Friday 7:30 p.m. Hayfield vs. South County SS (@ South County)
Friday 7:30 p.m. Edison vs. West Springfield HS (@ West Springfield)
Friday 7:30 p.m. Lee vs. Chantilly HS (@ Chantilly)

Last week, Hayfield lost to Westfield, 35-13. Lee topped Edison last week Thursday, 75-61.
