Browne Academy

Marion Browne, a teacher from New York City, founded Browne Academy in 1941 and based it out of a house in Arlington. Browne has been at its current location on Telegraph Road since 1945, offering its students small class sizes to maximize the potential for learning. Browne features a faculty devoted to helping students become better people and prepare for their academic lives after graduation. Counselors for Browne's secondary school placement program work with each eighth grader and his or her family to help them choose the best secondary school once the child graduates.
