The hardest part about learning karate is deciding to try it! Leave your ego, bring a smile. We laugh a lot as we help each other other learn. One-hour classes start duringweek at 7 PM and Saturday at 9:30 AM. You will improve your physical and mental control and balance, reduce stress while getting into shape. No previous training necessary. Practicioners from other styles welcome!. We enjoy sharing technique interpretations and applications as we explore a strike being a throw being a block being a strike. A slew of black belts stands ready to assist in your learning. Cooperation is necessary as we learn from you just as you learn from us. Small Class Size. Our instructor is a 7th Degree direct student of Grand Master Seikichi Iha, 10th Degree, since 1979. This is Beikoku Shidokan Shorin Ryu (Kobayashi) Karate. Sensei Iha says, "Make Friends Through Karate!" Serving Franconia, Kingstowne, Rose HIll, Alexandria, Huntington, Ft. Belvoir, Newington, Lorton and Arlington. Ask call or e-mail for information about: "Fearless Woman" a two-hour self-defense class, and our "No Bullies, No Bad Guys" training for children. One-hour classes start at 7 PM and 9:30 AM on Saturday.
