I was very surprised to see negative reviews of this business. I have had nothing but curteous, friendy, andefficient service here. They have NEVER tried to sell me anything I didn't need. Two days ago i went in needing a battery and got one quickly at a resonable price, and they vaccumed my car out as a bonus! I trust these guys!

I took my car for an inspection and failed. I went back 4 times to get it reinspected but the ONLY guy who could reinspect was on vacation or not available. In the mean time I got a ticket for having an expired reinspection sticker!! When the guy finally came back from vacation they charged me another $16 dollars because the inspection rejection sticker was more than 15 days old!! Go somewhere else to get your car inspected!!

They will try and sell you all kinds of flushes (engine flush, transmission flush) even when you had one done recently they will advise you again that your car needs it.

YATES AUTO REPAIR IS A HUGE RIP OFF!! Years ago I took my SUV for an oil change while I went to get my nails done in the same shopping center. While there I got a call that if I didn't fix what they were saying it needed, it would be dangerous for me. I of course agreed to the work. I then called my friend and he told me to ask them for the parts they were changing. Less than an hour later when I went to pick up my car, the bill was $400+ and when I asked for the parts they took out, they told me they had been thrown in the trash and could not be recovered. I didn't go there for years. Then just last week we took one of the cars for state inspection. It failed and we thought it might because there was a chip on the windshield. We took the car got the windshield replaced. Then took the car back. When we were both there they told us the car only needed a windshield, but when I took it back for the re-inspection, they failed it and said it needed hundreds of $$$ of work. I didn't agree to it, then took it down the street and it passed. BE AWARE HUGE RIP-OFF. READ OTHER COMMENTS ON OTHER WEBSITES, EVERYONE SAYS THE SAME.
