UPDATE: Dogs Seized from Rose Hill Home in Animal Cruelty Investigation

At least one person charged with being an unfit dog owner.

Update: Thursday, 2 p.m.  WUSA9 is reporting that a total of eight dogs were taken from a home on Tipton Lane in Rose Hill.  According to CBS DC, Robert Hancasky, a nearby resident, wasn't aware of any unusual activity at the house, and he didn't have reason to believe that dog-fighting was taking place.  CBS DC is also reporting that other neighbors told All-News 99.1 reporter Cameron Thompson that they could hear "worrying cries coming from the home at night." WUSA9's Andrea McCarren reported that the dogs being removed from the house were male, female, adults and puppies. She also saw treadmills, breeding devices, harnesses, heavy chains and several boxes being confiscated.  Photos of the incident can be seen here.    Original Post:  …
