More Office Buildings Coming to Kingstowne
The Halle Companies and Beulah Street II, LLC both have plans for office buildings in Kingstowne.
Besides the empty office building across from Kohl's that will be finished in June, there are even more office buildings coming to the Kingstowne area. According to its website, The Halle Companies — which also owns parts of Kingstowne Towne Center — plans to build a Kingstowne Towne Center Office and Retail building to be located at 5931 Kingstowne Village Parkway and 5951 Kingstowne Village Parkway. The project will include four office towers totaling 1,200,000 sq. ft of office space with an additional 30,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space. Kim - during the town hall meetings the last time this came up in 2007/8, a VDOT spokesman came to brief the traffic testing they did. It was pathetic. They sat at one intersection (I believe it was Van Dorn/Telegraph) for one day and counted cars. That's a single data point.
