Borders closing, heat this week, 30th District poll and more.

There is a 40 percent chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms after 3 p.m. Borders is closing all of its remaining locations, including the store on Frontier Drive in Springfield. If you haven't taken our 30th District poll yet, we encourage you to do so. There will be a meeting of the BRAC-133 Advisory Group at 7 p.m. tomorrow in the Beatley Library in Alexandria.
