Festival of Flowers Prepares for Valentine's Day Rush

Local florist, Carol Chabra, has been receiving orders since last week.

For the past few weeks, Festival of Flowers in Kingstowne has been taking Valentine's Day orders and preparing for the rush on what some consider one of the most romantic days of the year. The holiday is just around the corner, and locals are making orders for the special day. "It looks like there'll be a lot of orders of roses and lilies," said owner Carol Chabra. "They'll usually look for the names of flowers they're familiar with." Festival of Flowers has a store special for half a dozen roses and star gazer lilies for $60. The shop offers arrangements of all sizes and prices, starting at $30.
