Rotary Club of Springfield Donates Camera System to Edison Academy

Students and teachers plan to use the equipment for school projects and to help promote academy.

The Rotary Club of Springfield recently donated camera recording systems to the students and faculty of The Edison Academy, one of six academies in Fairfax County and part of Edison High School. As part of their efforts to recruit new students, academy teachers and students plan to use the equipment to record hands-on project activities for portfolios and create videos to promote the academy’s programs and student organizations. Rotary Club member Patrick Barney, who owns 4 More Travel, led the project to donate the equipment. Sign up for Kingstowne Patch's daily newsletter and breaking news alerts.
