Kweder, 34, is accused of murdering his roommate in Franconia in November.
The preliminary hearing for Eric Kweder, 34, will begin at 2 p.m. Monday, according to Fairfax County court records. Kweder was arrested and charged with 2nd degree murder in November after FCPD received a report of a suspicious death on Hydrangea Drive in November. According to police, the victim — 32-year-old Andy Lun Yun — was struck with a blunt object. Hours after receiving the report, police found Kweder about five miles from the crime scene after a police chase. Eric Kweder was arraigned at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday for second degree murder, according to the Fairfax County General District Court. According to court records, Kweder has not entered a plea at this time. Kweder is being accused of killing his roommate, 32-year-old Andy Lun Yun. Victim was roommate of suspect.
The victim in a murder that took place Friday morning in Franconia was identified Monday morning as Andy Lun Yun, according to Fairfax County Police. The 32-year-old Yun was the roommate of suspect Eric C. Kweder, 34. Kweder was arrested Friday after a police chase and charged with murder. Police said that Yun was struck with a blunt object. Around 2:30 p.m. Friday, police found the suspect within five miles of the scene with help from a police helicopter, canine and civilian tips, police said. FCPD is charging a 34-year-old male with murder on Hydrangea Drive.
(UPDATE: 5:38 p.m.) The victim, a 32-year-old male, was struck with a blunt object by a roommate, according to a recent news release from FCPD. The roommate, Eric Kweder, fled the scene after the incident. After using police helicopters, K-9 units and civilian tips, police located the suspect within five miles of the scene around 2:30 p.m. Friday. --- Fairfax County police arrested 34-year-old Eric Kweder of 6000 block of Hydrangea Dr., and charged him with murder Friday afternoon.
