Earlier this month, PNC Bank released its 2012 Christmas Price Index documenting how much it would cost to buy the characters and objects from the song, "The 12 Days of Christmas." Last year, the number crested the $100,000 mark. This year, it grew 6.1 percent to $107,300. Dancers from the Metropolitan Fine Arts Center in Kingstowne will perform Sunday, Dec. 23 at National Christmas Tree program.
Students from local dance studio Metropolitan Fine Arts Center will perform Sunday, Dec. 23 at the National Christmas Tree in Washington, DC, a program coordinated by the National Park Service. Member of the studio's Frosty Follies jazz ensemble were selected to perform at 1 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 23 in what will be their eighth year performing at the National Christmas Tree.
