Joglo House to Open This Weekend

The new furniture store takes the place of the former Telegraph Station space.

Joglo House owners Gary Jones said he and his wife Betty will officially open the furniture store this weekend either Friday or Saturday. The Kingstowne couple has received their first shipment of furniture and are ready for the opening. Gary said they'll have an official grand opening in the coming months, but items will be ready for purchase when they open the doors this weekend. Gary and Betty signed the lease in mid-January for the property where Telegraph Station was once located. The furniture store will specialize in Indonesian furniture and artwork. Earlier this year, Gary said solid natural wood furniture and artwork will be sold at Joglo House for reasonable prices, with some of their merchandise priced about 25 to 30 percent …

Furniture Store Coming to Telegraph Road Shopping Center

The furniture store owners signed the lease last Thursday with Jackson Prentice Real Estate.

Furniture store Joglo House will take the place of the former restaurant and bar Telegraph Station, according to Jackson Prentice of Jackson Prentice Real Estate. Owners Gary Jones and his wife Betty signed the lease for the property last week. The furniture store will specialize in Indonesian furniture and artwork. Solid natural wood furniture and art will be available at Joglo House at reasonable prices, said Gary. The influence for the furniture store offerings comes from the culture where Betty grew up, in Indonesia. The furniture will include bedroom furniture as well as tables and other pieces for the home.
