Telegraph Station Upgrades Welcome Live Music

Renovations and additions make for small, intimate concert venue.

Telegraph Station Coffee Shop recently underwent a number of renovations and upgrades to accommodate more live music. The restaurant and bar was closed during the week of Thanksgiving to make a few changes, including the addition of booths and new taps behind the bar. Co-owner Dave Wysong said he hoped the changes would allow for ticketed live music events. “Now it’s set up as more of a listening-room type of environment,” Wysong told Patch. “We want to get quality acts and be able to sell tickets.” Telegraph Station acquired the booths from Evening Star Café in Del Ray. Evening Star was undergoing renovations of its own, and Wysong said they no longer had a need for the booths. A small stage has also been installed at the front of …
