Sixth Springfield Fondling Victim Steps Forward
Another victim of "grab and grope" came forward during a police canvass of area neighborhood.
A sixth victim in a string of fondling incidents has stepped forward, Fairfax County Police announced Wednesday in a news release. While canvassing a neighborhood in Springfield where the previous incidents took place, detectives were made aware of a sixth fondling incident in the Springfield area that was believed to have taken place around 7:30 p.m. between September 9 and 13. A woman, 25, reported she was walking on Cumberland Avenue near Dinwiddie Street by the Commerce Street bus stop when a man approached from behind, grabbed and groped her.
