VIDEO: Lee High School Soccer Players Sign Letters of Intent
Meghan Cox has committed to playing soccer for James Madison University, and Daniela Neves will play for West Virginia University.
Robert E. Lee High School varsity soccer players Meghan Cox and Daniela Neves signed their letters of intent Wednesday morning to play for James Madison University and West Virginia University respectively. The athletes' friends, families and supporters were there to congratulate them. Cox and Neves have known each other since preschool and have played on their high school and club teams together for many years. Neves started playing soccer when she was 3 years old, and Cox when she was 4. "It's been a great experience, and this is a great opportunity. I feel so blessed," Neves said.
