Two vehicle thefts, iPad stolen.
Robbery A group of males robbed a 46-year-old man in the 6900 block of Cabin John Road around 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 7. Two of the suspects were described as white, around 19 years old, 5 feet 5 inches tall and between 125 and 145 pounds. The other suspects were described as 15 or 16 years old and wearing dark-colored clothing. The victim did not require medical attention. Vehicle Thefts A 2003 Saturn was reported stolen from the 6200 block of Farrington Ave. A 1997 Nissan Altima was reported stolen from the 6000 block of Grayson Street. Indecent exposure at Lee District Park, cars stolen on Telegraph Road.

Around 5:05 a.m. two men entered the Shell Gas station located at 6451 Edsall Road.The two suspects demanded money from the 27-year-old store clerk and one of the suspects displayed a gun. A suspect stole a mini van while a two-year-old was still inside.
A two-year-old boy was abducted during a car theft in Springfield on Sunday afternoon. According to Kingstowne Patch, around 4 p.m. on Oct. 23, a woman left her 2006 Honda Pilot running on the 7500 block of Murillo Street with her two-year-old son asleep in the back of the car. When she came back to the car it was being driven away with her son inside. The car was found soon after with the unharmed child inside. See Kingstowne Patch for the full story.

Vehicles vandalized Thursday between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Catalytic converters were stolen Thursday from six cars in the Park and Ride lot at Old Keene Mill Road and Amherst Avenue in Springfield, Kingstowne Patch reports. Police say the cars were owned by residents of Springfield, Alexandria and Fairfax Station, and listed the models as: There are currently no suspects. They also left a 3 series BMW sitting on top of cinder blocks and stole a wheel from an M class Mercedes SUV. I use this lot daily and after these incidents I prefer to leave my cars on the American Legion parking right next to this commuting lot.   more ›
