Police Report: Man Robbed in Springfield

Two vehicle thefts, iPad stolen.

Robbery A group of males robbed a 46-year-old man in the 6900 block of Cabin John Road around 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 7. Two of the suspects were described as white, around 19 years old, 5 feet 5 inches tall and between 125 and 145 pounds. The other suspects were described as 15 or 16 years old and wearing dark-colored clothing. The victim did not require medical attention. Vehicle Thefts A 2003 Saturn was reported stolen from the 6200 block of Farrington Ave. A 1997 Nissan Altima was reported stolen from the 6000 block of Grayson Street. Larcenies An iPad was stolen from a business on the 6900 block of Backlick Shopping Center. Video games were stolen from a business on the 5800 block of Kingstowne Boulevard. Police Report: Motorcycle Stolen in Franconia

Grand Larceny/Arrest Police arrested two men for allegedly stealing pallets of cardboard from the K-Mart store at 6364 Springfield Plaza around 3:11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 30. Travis A. Larcenies A purse was stolen from a business on the 5800 block of Kingstowne Blvd. Phones were stolen from a business on the 6500 block of Springfield Mall.

Police Report: Robbery, Brief Abduction in Springfield

Here are the incidents that occurred from October 20 to October 26. Keep in mind that these are reported incidents. A crime did not necessarily occur. Robbery/Arrest Police arrested a 16-year-old boy for allegedly robbing another 16-year-old boy of his cell phone in the area of Deepford Street and Frontier Drive around 1:40 p.m. on Saturday, October 22. The suspect was taken to the juvenile detention center and charged with robbery. The victim was not injured. Police Report: Armed Robberies on Edsall, Van Dorn

Here are the incidents that occurred from October 13 to October 19. Keep in mind that these are reported incidents. A crime did not necessarily occur. Robbery Police are investigating a robbery that occurred Sunday, October 9. Around 5:05 a.m. two men entered the Shell Gas station located at 6451 Edsall Road.The two suspects demanded money from the 27-year-old store clerk and one of the suspects displayed a gun. The victim complied and both suspects fled. The victim did not require medical attention. The suspects were described as black and 5 feet 10 inches…

Child Briefly Abducted in Springfield

A suspect stole a mini van while a two-year-old was still inside.

A two-year-old boy was abducted during a car theft in Springfield on Sunday afternoon.  According to Kingstowne Patch, around 4 p.m. on Oct. 23, a woman left her 2006 Honda Pilot running on the 7500 block of Murillo Street with her two-year-old son asleep in the back of the car. When she came back to the car it was being driven away with her son inside. The car was found soon after with the unharmed child inside.  See Kingstowne Patch for the full story.

Police Report: Teens Robbed at Gunpoint, Van Stolen in Rose Hill

Here are the incidents that occurred from Oct. 6 to Oct. 12. Keep in mind that these are reported incidents. A crime did not necessarily occur. Commercial Robbery Three employees of a jewelry store located at 6681-1 Backlick Road were robbed on Thursday, Oct. 6, at 12:45 p.m. A man and woman entered the store, brandished a handgun and restrained the employees. Parts Stolen from Six Cars at Springfield Park and Ride

Vehicles vandalized Thursday between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Catalytic converters were stolen Thursday from six cars in the Park and Ride lot at Old Keene Mill Road and Amherst Avenue in Springfield, Kingstowne Patch reports.  Police say the cars were owned by residents of Springfield, Alexandria and Fairfax Station, and listed the models as: There are currently no suspects.  Anyone with information should contact the police on the non-emergency number 703-691-2131. They also left a 3 series BMW sitting on top of cinder blocks and stole a wheel from an M class Mercedes SUV. I use this lot daily and after these incidents I prefer to leave my cars on the American Legion parking right next to this commuting lot.   more ›

Police Report: Burglary at Governors Pond Circle

Burglary A home in the 5600 block of Governors Pond Circle was burglarized around 6:37 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 3. An investigation determined entry was forced through a door and money and a broom were missing. The suspect was described as black, in his mid 20s, about 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a slim build and afro-style hair.
