Roads will reopen Sunday morning.
Northbound Telegraph Road is currently closed between the ramp from northbound Telegraph Road to Eisenhower Avenue and Duke Street to complete construction of the new Telegraph Road bridge over the railroads. According to the Woodrow Wilson Bridge Project website, there will be no direct access to the Beltway from Telegraph Road during this time. Construction will be taking place in this area until 8 a.m. Sunday. Motorists are advised to use caution and take alternative routes to reach their destinations. Be advised of the following Telegraph Road and Capital Beltway closures in the area this week. Telegraph Road Interchange Wednesday, Dec. 14 until Monday, Dec. 19 – Closure of Outer Loop ramp to Huntington Avenue: Capital Beltway Closures Sunday, Dec. 11 through Thursday, Dec. 15 nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the next morning: Monday, Dec. 12 and Thursday, Dec. 15 daily from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.: Tuesday, Dec. 13 and Wednesday, Dec. 14 daily from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.:

Weather permitting, the Woodrow Wilson Bridge Project will conduct work on the Outer Loop this weekend. Variable message signs will be posted to alert drivers and provide detour information when necessary. This work will have major impacts on Beltway and local traffic, and motorists are advised to seek alternate routes to avoid delays. The scheduled work is as follows. Friday, Oct. 28 from 11 p.m. to mid-day Sunday, Oct. 30: The two right lanes of the Capital Beltway Outer Loop (I-95/495 North) will close at 11 p.m. Friday just before the Eisenhower Avenue Connector to just before Telegraph Road to set an overhead foundation, leaving one lane open in this corridor.
