Evelyn Gardett is a private tutor in the Washington, D.C. metro area.  She obtained her Masters in Art History from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland, and recently completed a graduate internship in the education department at The Phillips Collection in Washington, D.C.  In 2005, she graduated from Thomas Aquinas College, where she completed the Great Books Program.  In high school, Evelyn was a classical cellist and gave her solo debut at the Kennedy Center Concert Hall.  Evelyn has taught English at National Cathedral School and has tutored the arts, writing, history, math, philosophy, AP, SAT, and study skills.  Her writing has been published in Elan Magazine, The McLean Connection, The Reston Observer, The Blue Ridge Leader and Patch.com.
