Thanks for your interest in this very important academic issue as so many students are missing out on an appropriate level of higher achievement with Dr Dale's decision to take out honors level courses when there is an AP course offered!! We just launched a website: www.restorehonorscourses.org.

Marta - good discussion with John. Many of us in the Mount Vernon cluster have been incredibly frustrated with Dan's ineffectiveness in communicating the desires of parents to the board and FCPS. Whether it has been over the slap-in-your face online honors issue, the insane no-zero and cheating policy fiasco in fall of '10 or any of the other issues, Dan has been disappointing as of late. I believe he does his best, but his hands have been tied under Dale's (lack of)leadership. Perhaps Ms Nellenbach is the answer....as well as several other GOP endorsed candidates! Thanks.
