Nalls Produce to Celebrate Penny's 2nd Birthday Saturday
The resident teacup pig's birthday bash will benefit the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria.
Nalls Produce on Beulah Street will host a birthday celebration for its resident teacup pig, Penny. According to a recent news release, the pig will celebrate her second birthday, and the birthday bash will benefit the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria.
Penny's Birthday Bash will be from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday at Nalls Produce. Members of the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria will be on site to discuss the work they do, the shelter's needs and animals they have that are ready for adoption.
The Animal Welfare League of Alexandria will also have giveaways for kids and adults. They will also be accepting monetary donations as well as material donations. See the materials list here.
Grounded Coffee will provide the first 100 guests with free strawberry cupcakes. The coffee shop will also celebrate Penny birthday from Aug. 10-31 at their location on Telegraph Road by offering a strawberries & cream smoothie. Guests at the party will receive a coupon for $1 off this special smoothie.
