Kweder Sentenced to 10 Years in Prison in Roommate's Death
Andy Lun Yun died in November 2012.
Eric Kweder, who was found guilty of the manslaughter of his roommate, Andy Lun Yun, in the Franconia area in November 2012, has been sentenced to 10 years in prison, the Washington Post reported.
Kweder, who was 34 when he struck his roommate with a blunt object, was arrested and charged with murder Nov. 30, 2012. He had fled the scene of the crime and was apprehended by Fairfax County Police. The incident occurred in the home they shared in the 6000 block of Hydrangea Drive.
Kweder was initially charged with second-degree murder, but his defense argued Kweder was not guilty by reason of insanity.
According to his Kweder's Facebook page (no longer publicly available), Kweder studied exercise and sport science at the University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, Ky., and graduated in 2009. His page also included photos of him as a Marine.
