Man Grabs Student Near Lee High School

Suspect is described as around 5 feet 5 inches tall and thin

Police say a man attempted to grab a Robert E. Lee High School student on her way to school Wednesday morning

Around 8 a.m., the student was walking on Cimarron Street near Apache Street. A man, described as an adult Hispanic or light-skinned black man, approached her. 

He grabbed her from behind. The woman, surprised, yelled out, and the suspect ran away.

Police describe the suspect as thin and around 5 feet 5 inches tall. During the attack, he wore a black jacket and dark blue jeans.

Police have increased security around the area.

In October, a suspect described as a thin Hispanic man an Oakton High School student. Later that month, a man a Mount Vernon High School student on her way to school.
