Attempted robbery, stolen cars, and a stolen Xbox

Each week, the Franconia District Station, whose coverage area includes Kingstowne, releases a list [PDF] of crime incidents. Because the Franconia District includes parts of Annandale and Lorton, I've removed entries that were outside Kingstowne, Franconia, and Springfield.

ATTEMPTED ROBBERY

Two men, ages 58 and 51, were victims of an attempted robbery and one of them was assaulted on Monday, September 27 around 12:37 p.m. in the 6300 block of Deer Ridge Trail Court. One victim was not injured; the other was treated at the scene for non life-threatening injuries. Charges are pending further investigation.
